Education is a key sector for the Morgan Sindall Group amounting to around 55% of our construction projects each year. Morgan Sindall Investments plays a key role in helping the Group successfully deliver projects for our clients. From single site new build primary schools, to the delivery of major programmes such as the Priority School Building Programme, North West Batch, a £110m 12 school project which addressed the need to renewal part of the school estate considered to be in the worst condition, and historically the 19 school, £300m Hull BSF Project, our experience is unrivalled. We have delivered primary, secondary, special educational needs, higher and further education establishments. Additionally, we have also delivered a range of broader community related facilities that have an education element within.
Currently our projects are funded through public private partnerships (PPP’s), central government, or are included as the social infrastructure of a wider JV property partnership. We invest in and manage these projects. Where necessary, we generate innovative funding and commercial solutions to enable them to happen. In Slough, we are currently refurbishing and extending three schools to create new primary school places and improved learning spaces for the children of Slough in response to the council's need to respond to the significant rise in birth rates in the area.
Our aim is to create robust and sustainable developments, where schools are the heart of the social and economic regeneration.
